What is a rebel? A man who says no.
Albert Camus, L’Homme révolté (via jacquelineelizabeth)
“Yes I can. If I wanted to, I could legally change my name to Henry XIX (the nineteenth).”

I was trying to prove to my mother that it doesn’t have to go Henry I, Henry II, Henry III, etc.  If I wanted to, I could jump to Henry XIX.  We had a very long discussion about royalty in the car today.

Anyway, I just wanted to say that I’m not going to be posting anything for a while.  Don’t worry!  I’m not going to die!  I’m just going on vacation.  If I get the chance, I’ll post a blog, but for now, don’t expect any blogs until January.  And then I’ll post a very long blog about my fabulous vacation.

And I just realized that I haven’t posted any normal blogs in a long time, so I’ll start that up again in the new year.

So, until then, I hope you had a wonderful Christmas, or whatever holiday you celebrate, and I hope your New Year’s is just as great!  I hope you spend it with friends and family, have a party, but please just promise me you won’t get drunk, and then drive.  Because I will personally hunt you down, and I’ll give you a talking to.  And it won’t be pretty.

Crap, my laptop just spazzed again.  I tell ya, this thing is on life support, but it still has heart attacks.

Oh.  Best present I got?  Well, I got a new camera that is supposedly non-breakable.  Yeah, we’ll see how that goes.  I got another pair of footsie pajamas!  YES!!!!  And, the greatest one… a logger hat. Like this…

Of course, that’s not me wearing it.  However, my logger hat is beautiful.  It’s blue and plaid, and whenever somebody asks me where I’m from when I wear that hat, I’m going to say Minnesota in my fake Minnesota accent.  Should be fun.

Is it even called a logger hat?  I don’t think that’s right.  Hmm.

Reblog if you’ll always consider Pluto a planet, no matter what scientists say.

Merry Christmas, everybody!

It happened again! This is not good. Not good, not good, not good.

My psychic-ness showed up again.  Yes it did, yes it did, yes it did.

I was watching Phoebe in Wonderland (which, by the way, was amazing.  It’s now one of my favorite movies.) and it came to the scene where Phoebe was jumping around stepping on the squares.

And then I specifically remembered a dream a long long time ago, that I know had something to do with Alice in Wonderland and a little blonde girl (which I had assumed was me) jumping from square to square, determined to step in every square.  But I now know that it was Phoebe in Wonderland, and it was in fact Elle Fanning, not me.

This is freaking me out!

Do You Believe in Magic by Shaun Cassidy

Do you believe in magic?

In a young girls heart
How the music can free her
whenever it starts

And it’s magic
if the music is groovy
It makes you feel happy like an old time movie

I’ll tell ya about the magic
It’ll free your soul
but it’s like trying to tell a stranger ‘bout rock n roll

If you believe in magic, don’t bother to choose
If it’s jug band music or rhythm and blues
Just go and listen
It’ll start with a smile
It won’t wipe off your face no matter how hard you try
Your feet start tapping
And you can’t seem to find
How you got there
So just blow your mind

If you believe in magic
Come along with me
We’ll dance until morning, just you and me
and maybe, if the music is right
I’ll meet ya tomorrow
so late at night

We’ll go a dancin’ baby then you’ll see
all the magic’s in the music and the music’s in me, yeah

Do you belive in magic? Yeah.
Believe in the magic in a young girl’s soul
believe in the magic of rock n roll
Believe in the magic that can set you free
Ohhhh, talkin’ bout magic

Do you believe like I believe?
Do you believe in magic?

Sesame Street by Joshua Radin

sweet.

greatest pain in life: missing someone you know doesn’t miss you back.
Free Falling- Tom Petty

She’s a good girl, loves her mama

Loves Jesus and America too
She’s a good girl, crazy ‘bout Elvis
Loves horses and her boyfriend too

It’s a long day livin’ in Reseda
There’s a freeway runnin’ through the yard
And I’m a bad boy, ‘cause I don’t even miss her
I’m a bad boy for breakin’ her heart

And I’m free, I’m free fallin’

All the vampires walkin’ through the valley
Move west down Ventura Blvd
And all the bad boys are standing in the shadows
All the good girls are home with broken hearts

And I’m free, I’m free fallin’

I wanna glide down over Mulholland
I wanna write her name in the sky
I wanna free fall out into nothin’
Gonna leave this world for awhile

And I’m free, I’m free fallin’

Without a doubt, the best song ever known to man.
